Can anyone tell me whether an individual trustee can be both the chairman and the treasurer at the same time.

We have never had letters of appointment for new trustees and I am now being asked to produce one.

As the local CVS we are considering an initiative to support and develop a group of Trustee chairs or other officers through establishing Action Learning Sets.

What is the effect of a trustee's resignation in respect of their liability?

Where would you recommend that a group looking to set up a new charity should go for advice on what legal form to use and how to get started? What resources would you use?

How should we make the best use of trustee/committee meetings and get most out of them personally?

How do I work out what time commitment I'm really going to have to make when asked to be a trustee or committee member?
