Warrington CVS and Volunteer Centre Warrington host a number of trustee events, with the main event being an annual trustee conference.

The next trustee conference will be in February 2009.

Last year's Trustees Together Conference was held on Saturday 13th October 2007 in the Gateway, Sankey Street, Warrington. The conference brought together over 40 Trustees of local charities to listen to talks by Alan Clarkin - Charity Commission, Claire Farmer - Charity Trustee Networks and Nigel Bacon - Warrington CVS.

Delegates enjoyed workshops covering topics such as Recruiting Effective Trustees, How to make Board Meetings more Effective and What should go into the Trustees Annual Report (SORP).

The delicious lunch was enjoyed by all and feedback  after the event was positive.
