This practical workshop will guide you through theory and simple tools to help you appreciate the 'what' and 'why' of monitoring, evaluation and reporting. It will show you how to set the context of a monitoring and evaluation framework in your organisation, and examine systems and techniques that you can use to enhance the effectiveness of your organisation in order to increase its social impact. The workshops will also discuss best practice in capturing and reporting information looking at measuring methods, key performance indicators, and the difference between outputs and outcomes.
On completion of this workshop, you will have an improved understanding of the reasons and tools behind monitoring, evaluation and reporting. You will have learnt about practical effective ways to demonstrate your social, environmental and economic impact, especially in the context of getting future contracts or grants, governance and compliance issues.
